Shalom dear
donors and treasured friends of the Olim Fund of the Galilee,
I once again had the great blessing of
participating in the March meeting of the Olim Fund Board
last evening whereat we were, for the first time, able to
meet, at least to some extent, all of the qualifying requests
for urgently needed survival level financial assistance that had
come to us this month. A summary of these distributions
and earlier reports are also posted on our web site at www.olimpublications.com
I can't tell you what a thrill it is for
us to be serving as a conduit of your blessings to my people who
have boldly made Aliyah to the Land and who are having a time
of special need as they adjust to their new home.
These are very difficult times in Israel
as we stand ready for a potentially devastating war to begin
at any moment. What a great blessing it is for the ones you have
so generously blessed with these gifts to know that people like
you care about them and love them enough to help in this life
sustaining way.
I again want to thank each of you personally,
with all of my heart for your very great and continued generosity
in helping us meet these needs. Truly I could feel your love for
Israel and my people as I personally put shekel notes into envelopes
and marked the names of those fortunate individuals and families
who you have helped so much in these troubled times here in the
Land.
A simple thank you on behalf of these
dear ones and our Board is obviously very inadequate to share
our profound gratitude for your help. May you rightfully be filled
with great joy as you contemplate the many blessings you have
made possible through your generosity.
We have now distributed all of our available
funds and are trusting the Lord for His continued provision through
your continued support of this outreach to which we have been
called by Him.
It is wonderful to be assured that the
Lord God of Israel knows your heart and that He, according to
His Word, will bless you greatly.
With love in Him,
Bob Fischer
